A pair of small Staffordshire blue black transferware lidded tureens with original bases, probably Sampson & Hancock, dated 1883 to bases. In good condition, crazing and light staining evident, rim nibbles. The bases are approx. 8 cm deep, overall height with lid approx. 15 cm, base plates 19 x 13 cm.
