Wood & Sons England 'Yuan' Blue and White Transferware Lidded Serving Dish or Tureen

A Wood & Sons 'Yuan' blue and white transferware vegetable tureen or serving dish with lid. In excellent condition, with very minor crazing in places. The design  was the work of Frederick Rhead around 1916, and oriental in influence. Approx. 26 cm in diameter. Registration number 656368 to base.
